A group of US Republican
representatives has proposed two contentious bills targeting students involved in pro-Pale-stine protests.
The first bill, named the "Antisemitism Community Service Act," suggests sending individuals convicted or charged with unlawful activity on US college campuses since October 7,
2023, to provide community service in Ga-za for a minimum of six months.
Though not explicitly mentioning pro-Pale-stine encampments, the bill focuses on activities on
college campuses after the said date, coinciding with Ham-as' surprise attack on lsr-ael. Tennessee Representative Andy Ogles, notorious for his anti-Palestine views, spearheaded this divisive bill.
In February, he faced backlash for remarks advocating violence against Palestinians
