On this joyous occassion, we are pleased to bring to you the first in a series of a podcast titled Miracles of the Holy Quran.

In this first episode Br. Imran Versi and Br. Mohammed Shabbir discuss the challenge the Holy Quran puts forth to disbelievers in Chaoter 2 verse 23-24 of producing one sura the likes of the sura's in the Holy Quran.

Part 2 is now available discussing the Universe as explained by the following verses:

وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ {47}
[Pickthal 51:47] We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof).

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ {30}
[Pickthal 21:30] Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ {33}
[Pickthal 21:33] And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.

وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ {38}
[Shakir 36:38] And the sun runs on to a term appointed for it; that is the ordinance of the Mighty, the Knowing.
[Pickthal 36:38] And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise.
[Yusufali 36:38] And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
