In Syria where people are very poor and the Iraqi refugees begging on the streets, people are against jokes. When i came here, as a Tanzanian, i used to make jokes with them and try to make them laugh but the result of which they wanted to beat me because they are against jokes and laughter

But we Tanzanians have not seen war in our lifetime. People who have seen war are not very usefull to jokes and laughter
