28th Rajab 60 A.H The day Imam Husain a.s left Madina (His beloved hometown, the resting place of His grandfather, the Prophet of Allah, His mother, the doyenne of all the women of the universe & His brother, the chief of the youths of paradise) for the sake of safeguarding Islam in its true & pure form from being annihilated from the face of the earth.
No wonder the words of Prophet Muhammad "...I am from Hussain", remains a live testimony to the fact that had it not been for Husain, the message and teachings of Islam would not have survived...All Muslims forever remain indebted to Hussain.
