Asalamalaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
My respected brothers and sisters in faith, I always had this question in mind. though I have never been able to prove if its either true or false for that matter.
But all I know ALLAH(swt) is the most gracious and the all-knower. But I ur fellow muslim, am posing this question here today to u my brothers and sisters if anyone knows, heard or has any evidence on the reason why do Non-Muslims(christians) do miracles?

Whatever reason u provide, u have to also tell me why u said that with sufficient and authentic evidence.

I admit, I do not really know why they can perform miracles. Maybe they are not miracles but tricks. Maybe these 'miracle-workers' use demons to drive out other demons. Maybe they go somewhere and learn how to do this. (I heard about some university/school actually teaching people how to perform miracles.) Maybe they perform miracles in the name of Jesus, and God hears them.

I know one thing, though. They are not all good Christians. You asked for 'sufficient and authentic evidence'. Will the Bible do? Here goes.

As far as I know, these 'miracle-workers' require their subjects to pay a fee, right? They try to swindle the people who believe them.
Jesus says in Matthew 6:24

No one can be a slave of two masters; he will hate one and love the other; he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money
And here's the bomb.
Jesus says in Matthew 7 :13-23

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Now if these 'miracle-workers' do not do what God requires them to do, Jesus himself will deny them. Does it matter then, whether they really can do miracles, how they do them, etc? They shall not have eternal life, but eternal damnation as Jesus says, 'Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire'.

Asalamalaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Thanx Sister Karim for that very true answer, I guess ur qualified to be a Lady Sheikh and a Nun at the same time.
I never thought of that, I guess this thing is useful after all. I have to say ur good in interpreting stuff.
But I have another question related to ur previous answer,
What is the will of the father in heaven?

Thanks for the compliment, though I'm sure one would have to be Christian to be a nun.

The answer to your second question can be found in the Bible also. The Will of the father in heaven...that you obey Him and Him alone. See Matthew 19 :16-17. Jesus (as) is asked what one should do to enter eternal life (heaven) and his answer is 'Keep the Commandments.'

This is what all the Prophets (as) and Imams (as) taught. They also lived every moment by this law. What we have to do is follow their teachings, and try to become what they were. We have the lives of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the Imams (as) in great detail. We have details about the other Prophets' lives also, though in less detail. We are to study them and emulate them.

May Allah (swt) help us do that.

As we can deduce, not all 'miracles' are divine miracles. we therefore need to be able to differentiate between divine miracles and other so-called 'miracles'.
