In the name of 'Allah - the Creator of the Universe, the Friend of all Believers.

as-Salaamu 'aleykum warahmatullah.

Normally we go to the Haram of Lady Ma'sumah [s.'a], the Graveyards near to Haram, Jamkaraan, Mount of Prophet Khidr and... for meditation and in solitary with 'Allah in His worship. But since we come to DSM, we find no such places where we can move away for a few hours or perhaps we're unaware of them!?

How many brothers and sisters out there who feel the same and wish to get away from everything for 'Allah? And how many of you already have a solution to this and have a place to go to?

In dar, the night time is blessed with amazing weather conditions. And especially if there is a clear sky, any terrace can be an amazing place for seclusion.

The farther away from city lights the better. For example, upanga or across the ferry is even better.

Pugu forests has some good vegetation and nature, albeit its a bit far.

Nearer to town, the botanical gardens can be an amazing place to just be at.

If you have the time and budget, nothing beats Horombo or any other spot on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Thanks bro. One other place, since I've been to Dar, is at the corner of Mehfil e-'Abbas ['a.s]. Normally, whenever we felt sad from the inside or wish to speak to 'Allah, we would walk to the Haram, even at 3 am at night. But because we feel the ghurbat here, the only place to find calmness of the heart is at Mehfil e-'Abbas ['a.s].

The best time is always at night or near to salaat al-Fajr.

If one feels weird to stand outside the door of mehfil e-'Abbas ['a.s] then one can always stay in the car and recite the ziyaarah of our Imams ['a.s].
