We all know that it is compulsory for us to have our will written and ready before we go to sleep! Yet, we always seem to delay writing one.

I wonder if this is one of our subconscious ways of telling ourselves 'its not my time yet'

Yes we need to make a will

The Holy Prophet (SAWW) has said

It is not proper for a Muslim to pass two nights without having under his pillow his last Will and Testament

He who dies leaving a WILL which is equitable, dies the death of a Martyr

We should also remember, the Holy Prophet (SAWW) has said

A piece of date given in charity during the lifetime confers much greater benediction than distribution of a godown full of dates after one's death
