Each prophet presented a miracle according to the time and conditions to prove that they were sent divinely
e.g. Prophet Musa and magic - staff that turned into a snake
e.g. Prophet Isa and health and medicine – power of healing and even bringing back to life
e.g. The HP and poetry and eloquence
The Holy Quran’s miracle was greater than these miracles in some aspects
- It was in the form of text – therefore leaves no room for doubt. It remained over centuries (not just for a short time) and is still present, its for all of mankind.
- Its invitation for a challenge – right from the start, the Holy Quran put out a challenge for anyone with the help of anyone to create something stronger.
"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful." (2:23)
If it could be done, then it would be done at the time of the Holy Prophet (saw) when poetry and eloquence was at its peak. This was something that the humans could not achieve.

3. Knowledge of the unseen e.g. “The Romans have been defeated." (30:2)
