REUTERS- Turkey's parliament lifted a ban on Saturday on female students wearing the Muslim headscarf at university, a landmark decision that some Turks fear will undermine the foundations of their secular state.

Amazing how the hijab seems to be scaring people in a MUSLIM country.
Are we the ones who don't seem to be understanding its importance that we only realise it when we're challenged/banned on a national scale?

What do you guys think?

Alhamdulilahi rabbil a'alameen

I think it is a wake up call to the muslim world as well as the non-muslim world. Why should the very core of a religion be targeted?
