Through the joint efforts of donors from Dar-es-Salaam, the Africa Federation and the World Federation, the AHLUL BAYT TV is now relaying FREE-TO-AIR in Africa under the following frequencies:
Intelsat 10 Ku Band @ 68.5 Degrees East
Transponder: 14
Frequency 12,562 MHz
Polarization: Horizontal
FEC: ½
Symbol rate: 26,657
We have managed for the same to be transmitted through CTV Digital in Dar-es-Salaam effective Saturday 21st August 2010 and CTN Mombasa will be transmitting starting from Wednesday 25th August 2010, followed by ZUKU in the very near future.
The channel will also be available on CTV in Morogoro, Dodoma, Mbeya, and Tanga before the holy nights of Laylatul Qadr.
Efforts are underway to get the same transmitted in other cities and towns in Africa. We shall keep the Community updated.
The Africa Federation Secretariat wishes to thank all the donors for their contributions, which has facilitated the launch of the Ahlul Bayt TV channel in Africa. The Secretariat would also like to thank all those individuals and institutions, who have and are assisting in getting the channel relayed in as many cities in Africa.
