Quoted ayahs from the Holy Qur'an that say the only people who
will enter Jannah are the pious ones. And he described pious people as:
1. those who give in the way of Allah (s.w.t)
2. those who supress their anger. (wal kaadhimeenal ghaidh)
3. those who forgive others. (wal a'feena a'nin naas)
and people with these qualities have been titled 'Muhsineen' (wallahu
yu hibbul muhsineen)
These 7 signs were given by Imam Ali (a.s) who had heard it from the Prophet (s.a.w). A Jannati person is:
1. One who always has a smiling face.
2. One who has a generous hand.
3. One who's heart is filled with fear of Allah (s.w.t)
4. One who's tongue constantly recites the dhikr of Allah (s.w.t)
5. One who offers all his prayers, sincerely.
6. One who completes his fast. (from dawn to dusk)
7. One who takes the initiative of greeting others first. (saying Salaam)
