well i have been really wondering if boys are allowed to put on earings and do those design haircuts?? is it haraam??

any one who can give their views?

I'm not aware of any fatwas abt this - and tho personally I'm against the "latest trends", I don't really see any thing that could allude to it being Haraam? Ok, aside from the earing bit - which has various connotations where it's a symbol of identity in the west (apparently attributed to gays), and not just "wearin for the sake a wearin." Yeah... it's got the famous smoking gun - "western influence" written all over it's face, but then again, I guess opinions vary from individual to individual. My few words. Tc.

well i think this is the sign of the reappearence of the twelfth imam.there is one thing i read about that women will wear n look like man n vice versa

i dont think its haraam, heres y
it is haraam to do nythin tht makes u luk like sumthin ur not...or is an identifyin symbol 4 a religion 2 which u dont belong. eg its haraam 2 put on a chando coz only hindus do tht. so it wud b haraam for guys to do nythin which makes them luk lyk girls. so for the haircuts, i guess theyre fine. n the earings, nowadays its not taken to b 4 galz only, so i guess those r k 2.

but then thr is another factor. if it is done 2 attract members of the opposite gender....automatically haraam

sumthin interestin:wen 12th Imam(atfs) reappears, he'll b havin shoulder-length hair.
