Speaking to Anadolu, the ministry of Endowments of Gaza reported that at least 2500 Palestinians were prevented from the Hajj Pilgrimage this year due to Israel control over the Rafah border.
The spokesperson of Ministry mentioned how this was a clear violation of religious freedom. Due to the genocide, the Palestinians faced hinderence in completing essential Hajj preparations such as transportation contracts within Egypt and accommodation facilities during Hajj.
Violation of Human rights is not something new for the Israel government as it is evident since last 9 months. It is not a surprise that once again Palestinians were not given freedom to practice their rights, however, the question remains - for how long will the world supports oppressors and not the oppressed ?
