Maintaining family relations with a Murtad

Salam.

What is the responsibility of a Muslim family if one of their members becomes a Murtad. Are we allowed to keep up relations with them?

Keeping relationship with the intention of guidance and امر بالمعروف و نھی از منکر is permissible.
