Asalamun Alaikum Respected scholar.
In regards to the very satisfying answer given above, I have another issue that I would like to know and clear my doubt.
It just came to my knowledge that the above scheme is funded by Bill Gates and his wife !
His secret agendas in some areas are known to all.
My question is, in the process of the research our salary and payments for the assigned tasks also come from him.
Is this income of mine halal?
