Below is a brief introduction of our resident Aalim who has kindly agreed to answer our fiqhi and religious questions on Ask:

Introduction
Mawlana Saqalain Abbas is originally from Pakistan having studied in Syria before coming to Dar es Salaam.

• Ilm-e-Qalaam from Hawza Imam Khomaini in Damascus, Syria under Al-Mustafa International University of Qum
• 10 years (Mukaddimat to Makasib) in Hawza Jamiatul Muntazar in Lahore, Pakistan
• M. A. in Islamic Studies and Arabic from Wafaq ul Madaris, Pakistan
• Metric with Science, Punjab, Pakistan
• Qirrat and Tajweed courses in Pakistan and Syria

He has been delivering lectures and teaching in different places in Pakistan and Dar es Salaam.
